Providing improved Sanitation for Tiny-Islands with the help of a urine separating toilet
Challenges Addressed:
- Existing Tiny-Islander solutions for human waste are often the source of disease
- Existing Tiny-Islander solutions are often not compasionate to Life Under Water
- Opportunity for Industry utilizing existing skill sets
SparkLETTE is a urine separating toilet design for, and made by Tiny-Islanders, utilizing existing skill sets. A urine separating toilet collects two valuable fertilizers as the result of human excretion.
With training and materials provided by tinyislandBIGHELP, the SparklLETTE is made at scale.
It is our goal is to provide a SparkLETTE to every household on the Host Tiny-Island.
Additionally, we intentionally mold extra SparkLETTE toilets for nearby Teeny-Tiny-Island + enough to seed the mainland economy & spark a decentralized craft industry of toilet makers on the Tiny-Islands.
In synergy with participation in the SparkLETTE Program, the Host Tiny-Island is also engaged with our SisterVILLE Community Program. The SisterVILLE Community Program provides Tiny-Islanders access to many things, including a farm that will make good use of the fertilizer materials collected by the SparkLETTE.

- Provide Training and Materials for building SparkLETTEs at scale
- Deliver SparkLETTEs to Tiny-Islanders
- Establish a Main-Land based market for SparkLETTEs and Tiny-Island Industry
